Here a revised version of my journal concerning the great news of getting a DD for the following picture:

In the meantime my bewilderment of yesterday has given way to just joy and gratefulness. First for the choice of the picture itself, then for all the many views and wonderful comments, the favs and the new watchers! They form a welcome boost to continue this second gallery of mine.
By now I know whom to thank for the DD. Ever so many thanks to Patrick and John! I am really most grateful to both of them. You can find their galleries here:
For those who are new to my two galleries here in deviantArt and wonder why I am running both of them separately (apart from my third one on Redbubble), let me repeat here what I already wrote earlier in another journal: my Jchanders-gallery is a nature gallery, taking nature in a broad sense. My interest in nature is very wide after all. But life is a matter of infinite variety, and so nature is just one of my photographic interests. I love human life scenes in the city and in the country-side, I love ships, lighthouses, bridges, windmills etc. I must admit, however, that I am a bit of a purist. So I prefer to keep all these shots apart in this gallery.
To embellish this frontpage in my usual way, here the 25 most faved shots of this gallery. After all I dare say that there are more interesting pictures in it than the absolute front-runner even of none of them will ever be able to compete with it in numbers of views, comments or favs. Enjoy!
